Current Projects
Alz-Q (2024-)
The growing group of people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in Europe is becoming increasingly isolated in an individualist society. Quiosq is the leader of a major new Erasmus+ project, named ALZ-Q, which started this month. Through this project, we aim to offer facilitators, such as guides and adult educators, in small local museums and libraries the skills to receive people who have recently been diagnosed with the disease. This will be done by making use of the knowledge and experience acquired in training adults by employees of professional educational institutes.
Quiosq is the main initiator and co-ordinator of this project. You can read more about it here.
UP2NEB (2023-)
The UP2NEB project aims to engage, connect and empower youth workers from EU peripheral areas, equipping them with codesigned, practical learning resources and updated skills.
OneCulture (2025-)
The events of 2016-2020 saw the victory of Euroscepticism in the UK and its subsequent exit from the EU, constituting a reminder of the fact that the solidity of the Union can never be taken for granted. Euroscepticism is present in many EU countries, gaining support and following after the economic and social crisis triggered by the COVID pandemic and worsened by the war in Ukraine. ONE Culture aims at fighting this feeling of distrust and suspicion, dangerously widespread among adults of different generations, through the appreciation of our common artistic heritage and the on-going dialogue among different cultures and demographics. ONE-C aims at creating an environment where adults from diverse backgrounds can feel like they belong and their contribution is valued and significant for the wellbeing of the society they live in.
